【Properties】
It is known as PPAN,LDAN,Chemical Formula:NH4NO3,Total Content
99.6%,Nitrogen content 34.7%,
Molecular weight:80.04;White Porous Prills,Prills or
Crystalline.Soluble in water methanol and ethanol easily, absorbs a
great of heat and reduce the temperature when resolves in water. It
is easy to decompose by moisture and agglomerate.
The physical and chemical property of porous ammonium nitrate is
similar to that of ammonium nitrate, but compared with common
crystal ammonium nitrate and granular ammonium nitrate,it has lower
water content, good fluidity and bulk property, easy to fill and
store, safe and convenient use.
【Applications】
1) Porous Prills Ammonium Nitrate(PPAN,LDAN)
It is mainly used to produce ammonium nitrate fuel oil explosive
which has excellent performances with low use cost and thus widely
used in mine exploration, construction, railway/road construction
as well as medical, chemical and other fields.
2) Prills(Opal) Ammonium Nitrate(TAN,HDAN)
It is mainly used in making ammonium nitrate explosives, emulsion
explosives, refrigerating agent and nitrogen oxide adsorbing agent,
as well as glass industry, medicine and fertilizers etc.
3) Crystal Ammonium Nitrate(CAN,Uncoated AN)
It is mainly used as an oxidizer in explosives,it is used to
produce Emulsion Explosives,and can also used in medical to produce
nitrous oxide (laughing gas).
Used as fertilizer, analysis reagent,oxidants,pesticides,cooling
agent,and can be used in the manufacture of laughing gas, fireworks
and explosives etc.Also used in oil, mining,gas industry.
