Clamp description:
- Joins 2.0 inch OD pipe to 2.0 inch ID pipe. Exhaust clamp is a
simple, effective way to connect heavy-duty exhaust system
components such as pipes, mufflers, catalytic converters, headers,
manifolds. Torque: 63 N·m.
- Connection Type: ID-OD slip fit connection with either straight or
"Z" compression slit. This narrow exhaust band clamp commonly use
on slotted pipes or stainless steel connection where disassembly
for service is likely.
- Distributes the clamping force evenly over the entire 360° to
provide tight sealing and prevent leaks and prohibit exhaust pipe
distortion. Material: 304 stainless steel strap and mild steel
hardware, serviceability, durability and reusable.
- Easy to handle and disassemble. Suggestion: Wrap the pipe with
several layers of aluminum tape over the clamping surface to take
up for slight out-of-round and help seal.
